Update on 6/20/15: Place Book now supports Android 5.0 (lollipop). Other enhancements include the newest Google Maps version, the newest Google Places API, and an upgrade to Yelp's v2 API.

It would sure be nice if this (Place Book) were available for Chrome on a desktop, like so many mini-apps are. I will sync my Android devices, but if I had it on my desktop, too, the presence of a keyboard would enable me to spend less time populating my places.
It functions very well - the only quibble I have at this point is that when I ask to do a search it always remembers the last search, which I must then erase to enter a new search. It's a small thing....
Otherwise, very nice work indeed - I can only wish everything I had on my android devices was as well thought out and functioned as advertised.
Just letting you know that version 1.35 has the ability to set an expiration time when the search term disappears. It will disappear in 24 hours by default but you can alternatively set it to 1 minute, 10 minutes, or never expire. Just go to "Preferences"->"Clear the Search Term" and you will see these options.
Howdy, love the app. Had been looking for this type of thing forever prior to finding Place Book. For me, it seems that since the Lollipop update, the app immediately closes upon launching. I haven't seen any comments anywhere with similar problems. So if it is just me and my configuration causing the issue, perhaps I can uninstall and reinstall the app. So I am just wondering what, if anything I have to save in order to not lose my locations. I am not positive if they were saved remotely in any fashion. Thanks a lot, and your work is greatly appreciated! -Craig
